Update on 10/6 just broke the app. It no longer connects to any cameras.

I bought this to control lights while away. The app has to be manually activated almost every time, even though a program has been selected. Save your money and buy a couple of cheap automatic switches from a home supply store. Very bad app, which makes the switch almost useless.

Sorry to say again this last update has caused both DCS 522L cameras to no longer show up turned on in list even though they are turned on and accessible through my Dlink light app. This is on a 6plus. So frustrating this seems to happen more and more with these updates.

I can on/off smartplug more faster than before

Another buggy update. Cant control plugs now, and cant set up motion detector. These people are idiots.

If you use smart plugs beware that this app will require firmware update and will cause it to disappear from older versions of app on other phones. It will also link to mydlink lite for cameras. Yuck.

With lots of fanfare d-link announced their latest update of mydlink home. The now built-in mandatory firmware update for the smartplugs does not work properly. It “bricked” one of my plugs. The application tells me to “Reboot the Device”: But how? Cameras are shown as devices in this version, but if you try to bring them up, the application turns itself off. Great. Trying to create schedules does not work (at least schedules are not properly transmitted to the devices). Devices turn on at strange times and never turn off again. Strangely the manual on/off function from the iPhone works (and is almost instantaneously). And, where in the application is the “Event Trigger” screen. Can’t see it on my iPhone 5S. D-link: you better retract this “update” and start over again. I am extremely disappointed.

Only one user may control the device. If you want multiple users they must all log in using the same email address and password. Bogus if you have more than one person living in your house.

I could write a lengthly tome of how difficult it was to set up my two DCS 5020L cameras, my DCS 5009, my 2 DCS 930s, my one 933 camera, and my five smart plugs In essence it takes TWO HOURS to finally get them connected, firmware updates are hit or miss, yes using an ethernet cable. Currently I am on the third hour trying to set up my latest smart plug. The experience gets more difficult with every app update. Please fix the 1)Set up process 2)Firmware update process 3)overall stability

The new version has completely locked me out of my 11 devices. I did a complete uninstall and reinstall of the app and have the same problem. Im having to downgrade from an older version saved on my computer.

Just upgraded to the latest version on Nov 8 2015 and now I cannot use it on my iPhone 6 +. When I try to log in it keeps giving me an error "Sorry, try again". I uninstalled it completely thinking that would fix the problem but now when I search for the app its not even available for download. If I google it I find it I click to download and I get an apple store message that the application is not available in the us store.

I cant login bec. I forgot my password and clicking "forgot password" leads to absolutely nowhere. The app is a piece of crap and make my timer a useless brick.

The response greatly improved. If you encounter a smart plug update failure, please reset to factory default and try to update again. The meter will not reset after the billing date. Please fix it!!!

Why your app notifications are with no sound ?

Bought a water sensor but the alerts simply pop up on the phone with no sound or badge. Useless to alert quickly for a water leak.

Cant get the software or the switches to work and no customer support. Complete waste of money.

Dont know why this got such low reviews. Setup was super easy, picture looks great on my iPhone 6s Plus and my wifes iPhone 5c. Detects motion and sound and alerts us in case of intruder. Only thing is I wish I could view the video on my Apple Watch. Hopefully an update with that feature in the future :)

Whenever I try to open the app my iPod touch 5th generation crashes it didnt do this in the last update (3.0.3) I need help!

About two weeks ago the app stopped working. The screen goes black when the app is launched. Im using an iPod Touch 6th generation running iOS 9.2.

WHEN WILL DLINK FIX THIS APP?? I do not want to be notified every time there is motion detected by my camera. Like, for example, alerting me every time I walk in or out of my own living-room. There is a setting in the camera app to disable this which works fine but this app ignores it and I get so many alerts I finally had to uninstall this really poorly written and tested app. Unusable POS. Please fix soon!!!
