The mydlink update looks stable compared to the previous version. I purchased another device since my comfort level with the product has improved.

Will not recognize a new DSC-5020L using the App to add the new device. Had to setup using PC. I can see the device working if I go to the MyDLink URL or using MYDLink Lite but not on this App. Strange thing is that I have 2 other 5020L that do work. Also will not show an older webcam DCS-930L but again URL or MyDLink Lite does work. Finally, would not recognize water sensor for 48 hrs after upgrading app. Kept saying I had to be on the same "Wifi". For no obvious reason just started working again today.

The app worked on the iPhone, but doesnt open on my iPod 5th genration. Can you fix the issue?

We buy the product, it works, they change app, doesnt load/work...amateur techs??

I can only watch for 5sec before it freezes. App closes on its own. It wont let me change the settings without freezing up. Plz fix!

Installed this the first time, deleted 3 other times and installing, nothing by a black screen. Im returning my 2 new devices tomorrow nothing.

No watch app. No HomeKit compatibility. No iPad app. Can we get these features please?

How about a timer for sunset and sunrise with an offset? I cannot get different devices to share a schedule. So you have to create an identical schedule for each device. Waste of time. Other companys are constantly updating and improving their apps. Dlink is not. Not on the app. Huge room for improvement. Had expected more.

The app couldnt connect with my device. Returned.

Cameras cannot trigger actions anymore, motion detector plug after installation makes an automated firmware update and they ask you to reboot the device and you end up in a loop ... You can reset the device etc ... And keep doing the same process, you obtain the same results: the motion detector plug become unusable. Does anybody in the programming team has ever tested their software? I guess not, the bugs are too obvious and reproducible for any person not to notice. I bought the dlink product, however, there are too many bugs to be used at this stage. If you can buy another product your home would be safer. It is a pity it looked like a promissing product.

The last update does not work for Iphones.

Anpassung an iPhone 6 fehlt

bought a D-link motion sensor. Followed the instructions but the app is missing options it says it says should actually be there. Without the menu option the sensor is a $35 paperweight.

I bought a motion sensor, installed the app, which isnt quite user-friendly, and for some unknown reason, its impossible to input anything in the section labeled actions (a desired action being an actual alert of some kind when the sensor is triggered). The device description promises alerts or push notifications so what gives? Whos going to continuously check the app to see if the sensor is triggered? As far as I can tell, its only good for giving police an exact time for when your break-in occurred. Fix this now. Blatant false advertising is intolerable.

Works ok but interface needs a ton of work. Too slow to get where you want and too easy to click the wrong thing. Doesnt remember preferred start screen. Very limited customization.

Thanks App Store for throwing away my thoughtful review five times. I give up.. You are both time wasters..

Horrible app. Crap device. Save ur money. Even with the new update it still doesnt work. Its a $50 paperweight

It seems you cannot schedule anything to be in through the night - i.e. Start time 6pm and Stop time at 5am. The schedule tool just wont allow you to do so. They need to fix this ASAP

this app is terrible. I am a computer technician and I couldnt set up my router. App crashes, device cant connect internet, just a bad thing. Ive got 3 smart plug, 1 sensor and 1 security camera. I am returning all of them back tomorrow. Dont spend your money on this item.
